Pack 2880: Learning by Doing

Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys learning by doing things.  We meet Tuesday evenings at 7:00 pm at Beulah United Methodist Church, following the Chesterfield County school schedule.

Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting:  citizenship training, character development and personal fitness.  Scouting activities are worked on during weekly Den Meetings, plus at school and home.  Then, at the monthly Pack Meetings, we celebrate achievements, distribute awards, discuss upcoming events and enjoy fellowship as a group.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, our program aims to teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.  The uniform, Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto and salute all contribute to this cause.
